We hosted the country's first CoinFest on the 8th & 9th April 2016. The event was held in Manchester, the event ran for two days, operated over two floors, was free to attend and provided a hub for Bitcoin enthusiasts and businesses.

Our event was hosted at MadLab in the Northern Quarter of Manchester and included:

    On the ground floor we offered:

    Music from The Cypherfunks, with a limited amount of free CDs to giveaway

    Unique custom built IDs for ticket holders (These IDs were automatically entered into our raffles)

    Freebies including badges, stickers, pins and much more

    Bitcoin Pizza, Chinese and Cookies! Sponsored by Bitcoin Manchester and @CrazyBakingLady

    A live ROKOS device. Attendees could examine the open source operating system on a Raspberry Pi. Guides were produced for ROKOS and the Pi

    Matthew from Portsmouth Crypto provided a group of Bitcoin education sessions throughout the CoinFestUK event, the topics included:

    • - Basics of Bitcoin & the Blockchain
    • - Navigating the Bitcoin ecosystem
    • - Wallets, security & cold storage
